| One day, as we were surveying our general product line-up and looking for any kind of obvious improvements we could make to our existing items, we got to thinking about our classic rifle case.
No doubt that the classic rifle case is a pretty simplistic yet powerful accessory for the rifleman. We did, after all, build it to be totally uncomplicated and self-explanatory. And once we infused it with all the care and meticulous attention to detail of any Kickin' A Packs 'N Stuff® product, the classic rifle case was happily accepted and employed by our loyal pool of customers across the globe. Those new to the Kickin' A Packs way of working found the product functionally to-the-point and practically indestructible with regards to its rugged nylon superstructure.
But while our classic model is, indeed, a stalwart, no-nonsense piece of equipment worthy of the praise and respect it has received, we found ourselves (and our customers!) yearning for a rifle case that somehow managed to maintain the straightforward functionality of the classic model but add some utilitarian spice to the overall package. We wanted to make available to our customers some kind of variant model of the classic rifle case that would, as simplistically as its classic cousin, give rifle owners a whole new range of options when it came to implementing the rifle case. In a very real sense, we were after a cool new spin on an old idea.
What we ended up doing makes such perfect sense it's a wonder we didn't come up with it sooner. We took the basic framework for our flagship product, the Original Tommy's Gun Pack®, and integrated it into the rear exterior quarter of the classic rifle case, and voila - the pocketed rifle case came into existence!
Of course, with its roots in the classic design of our very first rifle case (still going strong today!), we didn't cut any corners when it came to giving this beast some long-term structural reinforcement. Like all our rifle cases, the pocketed case is made entirely out of double-stitched nylon so as to maintain a stylish, trouble-free, extremely tough exterior capable of competently resisting grime, water, and the abrasion of general use. The rifle case's double-locking zippers (on both the broad exterior and the pocket) give you the option of locking up your weaponry for secure storage or for taking your hardware out on the road in compliance with California and other states' laws. Rubber inlaid wraparound handles and integrated shoulder strap loops let you move the case to and fro effortlessly.
The rifle case's interior is made up of a red synthetic fabric designed to hold your weapon in place and prevent any kind of abrasive markings to be scored into the surface of your equipment during movement.
And don't forget that pocket! Measuring 10"x6"x2", it's just the thing for people in the market for an easygoing, uncluttered rifle case with an extra boost in the functionality department. Nearly identical to our Tommy's Gun Pack, this pocket on the rear quarter of the case can be used to store extra ammunition, cleaning tools, ear or eye protection, your ID/licenses/permits, other personal affects, and virtually anything else you want to put in there!
