| Our Jampack 2000 is the entry-level bag in our Jampack line of backpacks. We conceived of the Jampack series as a collection of fun, stylish, trendy bags for the student or frequent traveler looking for something different and cutting edge. The Jampack 2000 may be rudimentary, but it neatly encapsulates all of the elegance and functionality we had in mind while designing these superb products.
The majority of the Jampack is stitched together from a high-quality, 600-Denier polyester synthetic. This material is lightweight, with slightly better tear strength over conventional nylon fabrics. Nylon, however, has the edge when it comes to abrasion resistance - that is, the ability to endure perpetual friction without deteriorating the continuity of the yarns. This is of particularly vital concern with regards to crucial load-bearing wear points which, on a backpack, is primarily constrained to the bottom of the bag.
To counter this potential problem, we've sewn the bottom paneling of the Jampack 2000 in a coarser 1680-Denier polyester. This heavier weave can endure about eight times more punishment than the finer 600-Denier polyester, as the thicker filaments are capable of transferring greater heat energy over a larger space without fraying or weakening.
This renders the Jampack 2000 an exceptionally durable bag. And with outer dimensions of 12" x 16.5" x 7", you can be certain the main zippered compartment has been built to just the right size for books, clothes, camping gear or traveling effects, and any other personal belongings you have in mind! A front zippered pocket provides suitable spillover space for adding last-minute extras, or separating out smaller items. The fully-integrated organizer adds value and convenience to the overall package.
Of course, a Jampack wouldn't be complete without some tunes to jam to! The internal MP3 player pouch is enhanced by a sealed wire port for threading your headphones. S-curve shoulder straps hug your body gently and naturally, and are heavily padded for additional comfort (as is the carrying handle/suspension loop on top).
