| Backpacks are items of antiquity, stretching far into the dusty annals of human history. Original backpacks were little more than soft animal hide sacks, sewn together with gut cord, and used by early hunters to carry back game to the main settlement. Today, modern society, for the most part, finds the hunter-gatherer lifestyle a quaint and incomprehensible way of existence. But despite all of our vast technological leaps and bounds of the last fifty years, we've yet to devise a means to circumvent the need for backpacks.
