| A famous, distinctly-American slogan everybody’s heard goes something like this: “Size matters.” But does it really? For many folks, size isn’t always preferable or even particularly useful. In the case of a range bag, a product such as Kickin’ A Packs ‘N Stuff’s excellent MD-Range Bag won’t get the job done not because it fails to be large enough, but because it is, indeed, too large. Even those customers who can manage to fill up a large range bag with eight, nine, or even ten weapons, aren’t always interested in hauling such a massive quantity of firearms down to the range.
Enter the quaintly pint-sized Deluxe “Two-Gunner” Pistol Case. Adhering to our usual design philosophy, the Two-Gunner is crafted entirely out of the finest nylon available anywhere in the world. We get a lot of questions as to why we decided upon nylon as our exclusive material of choice, never (not even once!) opting for something more common among our competitors’ products, such as leather and any number of synthetic polymers on the market.
The reason is simple: everything else sucks. Nylon is pliable and soft yet tough and durable. Very few elements will phase it. It doesn’t easily burn, and is not damaged by water (the Two-Gunner, like all of our items, is in fact machine washable), not to mention dust, oil, and grime very rarely stain nylon fabric. But most importantly for a product like the Two-Gunner, nylon is abrasion-resistant, meaning it tightly cradles your firearms without scratching the finish.
All zipped compartments feature number 10 coil zippers. This is a specific kind of heavy-duty, industrial-grade zipper built for smooth, reliable, and efficient operation while maintaining an outstanding lifespan due to the particularly high quality of the metal components of the mechanisms. The zippers are supplied in pairs, giving you the option of locking up your possessions (California law demands all weapons transported in a vehicle be stored in a locked container – other states’ legal codes may vary, but for this purpose the double zippers are of noteworthy import).
The Two-Gunner’s large front pocket can hold whatever you may need to store aside from your firearms – ear/eye protection, a wallet, keys, cell phone, whatever – but it was specifically designed for ammo boxes. You can comfortably keep around 300 rounds of handgun ammo in this pocket. Tough rubberized handles and a very nice padded carrying strap round out the pistol case’s exterior features.
But it’s the inside that really counts, as they say. And the inside of our deluxe pistol case is lavish indeed! You might have guessed the Two-Gunner’s maximum firearms payload is… well, two. And you’d have guessed correctly. Two padded pouches on each side of the pistol case allow for the safekeeping of up to two handguns. Sewn onto the front of each pouch are four slots for magazines. These eight magazine holders take any standard handgun mags, including double-stacked clips.
When the case is fully unzipped, the Two-Gunner folds out and acts as a pistol rug while the firearms are in use. And for those who want to squeeze the most out of their pistol case, a third firearm can be kept in the pseudo-compartment between the two main pistol pouches. While there is no padding in the central compartment, your weapon is safe because it’s being supported between the two sets of padded nylon mag holders.
Still not sold? The Deluxe “Two-Gunner” Pistol Case from Kickin’ A Packs ‘N Stuff is the most tightly-built, ready-for-the-road pistol case you’ll ever use. And after all, we use this stuff, too – if there’s one thing we know, it’s what we like and what we need. And it has always been our mission to give everyone the chance to benefit from the vast improvements we’ve contributed to this industry for almost fifteen years.
