| These belt extenders, 2” in width, simply attach to your existing Tommy’s Gun Pack belt and provide an additional twelve inches of length. Because we have used multiple buckle types on the Tommy’s Gun Pack over the last half-decade or so, we need you to specify which kind of buckle is on your gun pack so that we ensure your belt extender matches.
If you specify the wrong buckle type while placing your order, the male end of the extender WILL NOT ATTACH to the female end of your Tommy’s Gun Pack belt. Hence, it’s critical you make sure you specify the correct buckle on your gun pack! Don’t worry, each buckle is easily distinguishable, and close-ups of each buckle type can be found in the product photo to help you figure out what you need.
Here are some specifics for each buckle type:
Buckle A, with its beveled center guide, is made of molded nylon. It has only been used on the Original Tommy’s Gun Pack. The actual belt extension is made of heavy-duty polypropylene webbing, which is an extremely tough, flexible thermoplastic polymer strong enough to be used in some engineering applications.
Buckle B has a squared-off center guide and is also made of molded nylon. It’s only seen the light of day on an Original Tommy’s Gun Pack. The twelve-inch belt extension is made of polypropylene webbing.
Buckle C features a hammerhead center guide. It’s made of polyoxymethylene, also known as acetal, an absolutely top-of-the-line, totally unbreakable engineering-grade thermoplastic used in industrial machinery and satellites. The belt extension is sewn from heavyweight nylon webbing with a rated 7700-pound breaking force. This buckle is currently in use on our Original Tommy’s Gun Pack, the Elite Tommy’s Gun Pack, and the Tommy’s Gun Pack SIDEKICK.
Buckle D is our unique Cop-Lok buckle, also made of acetal, with a center release catch for maximum triple-retention security. It is presently only employed on our Elite Tommy’s Gun Pack. The belt extension is cut from heavyweight nylon webbing. |
